DealerTide now works with Claude
Most dealership software makes you go looking for answers. Which leads went quiet this week? Who owes us money, and how late are they? Is last month ready to close? The information is in your system, but finding it means clicking through screens, running reports and putting the pieces together yourself.
Starting today, you can just ask. DealerTide now works with Claude, the AI assistant from Anthropic. Connect your DealerTide account once, and Claude can answer questions about your leads, deals, inventory, service, books, budgets, install projects and commission plans, using your own live data.
Plain questions, real answers
You do not need to learn anything new. Ask the way you would ask your best office manager:
- "Show my open deals by stage."
- "What three bedroom homes do we have in stock under $90,000?"
- "Which homes have been on the lot more than 90 days, and which leads might want them?"
- "What tasks are due for me this week?"
- "Who owes us the most, and how late are they?"
Claude pulls the answer straight from DealerTide and explains it in plain words. If you have allowed it to make changes, it can also add a note, create a task or schedule a follow-up for you, and it asks before every one.
Six skills built for dealers
Answering questions is useful. Doing the jobs that eat your week is better. DealerTide for Claude includes six skills: step by step playbooks that teach Claude how a dealership actually handles each job.
- Lead rescue. Finds the leads that are going cold, picks the ones worth saving and puts a next step on each, so good prospects stop slipping through the cracks.
- Bank feed cleanup. Works down your uncategorized bank transactions payee by payee, using how you booked the same payee before, and flags transfers and accounts linked to the wrong place in your books.
- Project weekly update. Reviews your setup and install jobs, from site prep and delivery to inspections and the punch list, names what is running late and why, and drafts a plain update for each customer.
- Design a commission plan. Talks through how you want your team paid, tests the plan on example deals with DealerTide's own commission engine, and saves it as a draft for you to review.
- Build an annual budget. Builds next year's budget from your books where you have history, or from your own numbers where you do not, and saves it as a draft.
- Month-end check. Checks the bank feed, bills, what customers owe, deals sold in the month and late projects, then gives you a short verdict and a checklist of what is left before the month can close.
Ask "Help me close last month" and Claude does not just list numbers. It tells you whether the month is ready, what is holding it up, and who should fix what.
Safe by design
Your dealership data is your business, so DealerTide for Claude was built with clear limits:
- Each person signs in as themselves. Claude sees exactly what that person can see in DealerTide, at their own locations, and nothing more.
- It asks before every change. Nothing is added or updated without a yes from you.
- Changes can be undone. Every change is recorded, and your administrators can review what Claude did and reverse its changes in DealerTide.
- Some things stay with people. Claude never messages your customers, never pays bills, never deletes records, and never activates a campaign, workflow, budget or commission plan. It prepares drafts; a person in DealerTide turns them on.
- Your costs stay private. Dealer cost and gross stay hidden from Claude unless your administrator chooses to share them.
Get started in a few minutes
- Ask us to turn on AI Apps for your dealership. Your administrators will get an email with the steps.
- In Claude, open Customize, then Plugins, search for DealerTide and select Add.
- Connect your DealerTide account from the plugin's Connectors tab and sign in with your usual login.
- Start a chat and ask your first question.
